Default swapped trans coolers (pics)

Stock towing package cooler

B&M 70264

New cooler is a few inches taller and about a half inch thicker, and a better design (hopefuly). I'll report back if I see any difference in the temp gauge.

If it runs cooler? My gauge only gets up about an 1/8" above 100 if its been running and idleing for awhile. On the road it never hits 100*.

Looks like a good install. I would be interested if there is a difference.

wow, I guess the stall does create some heat - mine with the factory cooler would usually hover around 125 and get up to 150-160 if I'm getting into it

I guess i'll find out that too when i get the 3500 yank in. Didnt think about the stall making more heat around town.

I'm going with a stall pretty soon as well. Just curious, what made you decide on this cooler? Was this the biggest cooler you could find? Mine got to around 150 in 70* weather the other day so I'm interested to see what it runs in 90-100* heat.

So where does your tranny temp run LadiesMan? I'm about to install my TB converter and am wondering if I should expect much heat.
