Had a major set back. I broke the pump out the housing for the transmission and the end of a PI torque converter, so I need to get that fixed too. Thinking of a few changes. I need to take them pro magnum rollers out because I couldn't use the adjustable rocker arms, thinking of upping the cam to a split profile with more lift. The springs are suppose to be good for up to .650 lift and the heads will flow 290.5 cfm on the intake and 216.2 cfm on the exhaust at.600 lift. Might see what I can do to increase the compression some also.

I got the intake and throttle body, I got a new radiator and fans too, i'm thinking of a bigger cam and different lifters. I had problems with the lifter, rocker arms combination before, I switched the rockers back to stock but not the lifters . The lifters I have now are suppose to be preloaded, but i can't set em since the stock rockers aren't adjustable

I have special Edelbrock heads ordered from Rich at West Coast for my 2011 rcsb 2wd and he did not recommend the high rise Edelbrock manifold for this 5.3L. I used to have a worked '07 TBSS and this GMT900 has exact same 90mm TB and intake that had. I won a FAST LSXrt truck intake on eBay and Comp Cams did not recommend a 102mm TB for use. A very torquey custom cam is going in truck and the LSXrt should work very well with it.
