Why would you need to talk to one of the chemical engineers?

The tech department is who answers the questions.
The chemical engineers only deal with formulations.

I don't think you could get a chemical engineer from any oil company on the phone to answer questions about ATF.

 

As an engineer, I like to speak with other engineers when I have complex questions. Someone who doesn't deal with tech support questions as their job tends to be more honest about their product vs. others.

 

Likewise and it is nice to talk to someone that help design it than someone that just wants to sell it.

 

So I take it that you talked with the chemical engineers that helped design the ATF that you are using now.

You might try sending your questions to the tech department. They have some engineers that work in that department.

 

The staff in the tech department does not get paid to sell oil.

My paycheck does not change one cent if someone I talk with buys oil from us.

Some times I wish it did.

 

It does change if the company does not sell enough of it to pay your wages and they have to down size and lay you off.
