No, I didn't really see the point. None of the bends are very big or anything.

are you still on the stock 8.5" rearend?

any problems launching on slicks or undetermined

my good buddy destroyed an 8.5 with a 2 disk t-56 in his v6 s-10

I've broken one so far. I''m not certain it was my fault though. It was during normal driving. A carrier bearing failed and allowed the carrier to shift away from the pinion gear causing the 2 gears to chow down on eachother. That's when I replaced the gears and put the posi in. I'm certain it will die again one day, especially if I launch with slicks.

When I break it again I could go with a 12 bolt and probably be fine. I would more than likely just go with that, but I may just go 9inch and not have to worry about it.

I don't really remember, its been so long... I would say about 2k, but I used all used parts. Don't do that.

Now, I am looking at about another 1500 for a mild rebuild and spec3+ clutch...

what did you do about an adjustable master cylinder? . . . I read that in a couple places
