Default t78 question

The owner of my dealership's son-in-law is selling a t78 off his supra for a $1000. My buddy wants it but doesn't know if it will work well on his 6.0 and if it would a pain to get all the piping for it. He is only selling the turbo only

that may be a bit extreme for a stock 6.0, and the plumbing would be lotz of fun.

t-78 what? gotta be carefull if it is NOT a garrett, then it is actualy SMALLEr than a T-76...if it is the "greddy" t-78 it is more like a T-66 garrett F.Y.I.

If it is actually 78 though, then I believe parish had that, or a 76 on his stock 6.0L. It's about the right size for a 6.0L, but not knowing the A/R ratio and housing size its hard to say.

But if that was in fact on a Supra, then I KNOW it was making at least 1000rwhp! They all do!

can u get pic of it with a ruler so we can see measurement. also need to know what size the turbine is make sure its not a hybrid with a small t3 turbine. it would spool quick as sh*t but then fall right back off. but if its like the t4 housing are of the such then you should be good but we really need mesurements.
