Thanks for the input guys, I'm going to look at the truck again and make sure its the one I want.
Heres the option list:
2002 1500 Sierra rc/swb
3.73 posi
5.3
pwr windows/locks
black w/ charcoal interior
fog lights
trans cooler
the only add ons are
its got 17" escalade wheels(the ones w/ the triangles cut out)
and escalade gauges
its got right about 40k on the clock(thats counting mileage from the original cluster and the escalade) and he wants $12k for it since he was offered like 10 trade in.
creed:
I didn't take your statement as an attack, I just wanted to clarify that I'm not going to use duct tape and bailing wire to make the truck fast, and I think you pretty much grasped that, i'll be talking to you more about some stuff once I snag the truck.

Another point I would like to make is That it is very easy for someone to come on this site and find out what works and buy the right stuff the first time.
Myself however in the corse of 5 years have tried;
3 different computer programs
3 differant intakes
3 differant exhausts
2 plug wires
2 suspensions
3 sets of rear shocks
2 sets of tires
etc... Adds up fast when you have to do things trial by error.
And I know I'm not the only one.
But thats what has made it fun, changing **** around and trying new things.
If I could do it all over and know what I know now things would be alot differant.
Just trying to help.
