Default A-tap numbers

I finally got the A-tap working and had some time to play with it today. Don't know what I am doing yet but I will manually type in some RPM and timing #'s to see what everybody thinks. This is my 6.0 running at 7 psi on the custom Superchips tuning for the 5,3.

RPM Timing RPM Timing

564 16.5 3413 12.5
1408 16 3512 13.5
1888 12 3601 13
2434 13.5 3748 13.5
3090 11.5 3890 13
3499 11.5 4039 15
4236 12.5 4130 15
5007 10 4270 14.5
5562 12.5 4393 14
5065 8.5(1-2 shift)4528 12.5 KR MPH
4686 15.5 4665 11.5 2.2 107
3802 14.5 4724 11.5 2.1 109
4027 13.5 4832 11.5 1.9 112
4296 14
4510 14
4728 14.5
4810 15
5186 14(2-3 shift have to lift cause of trans)

No KR until 107 MPH, what's up with that? What numbers should I be seeing? I think it could use more timing.

Edit: the post didn't come out like I typed it-kinda hard to read. I had 2 columns with the first one ending at 5186rpm and then going back to the top of the right column for the rest of the run. I would be happy to e mail the file to anyone willing to analyze it and give me an opinion.

Default Re: A-tap numbers

doesn't look to bad to me, i am seeing about 14deg of timing the entire run with a 6-7psi and no KR. that was on a 55deg day and i do have my knock sensors decencatized a little but they still work. i tried a 8-9psi pully and instantly saw a full constant 8deg of KR.

i am going to leave mine where it is, i figure when it warms up 14deg might be hard to maintain without knock
