Default Taylor vs. MSD?

I have read all of your posts that I coulf find about these two, but if there is any new advice I am all ears. I have the MSD's right now and 3 of them are entirely too long, and I did not notice a ton of difference in the idle quality. I am thinking of going to the ThunderVolt 50's 10.4mm. Is this a good idea?

I would like to see a dyno run using different aftermarket plug wires over stock.
I wanna bet you there will be no gains in performance. Not 100% sure, but I just don't see it happening.
Unless the factory plug wires are damaged or your personal preference is another wire color, I would just save your money for a worthy mod.

Well, when I went to the NGK's, I also replaced the stock wires with the MSD's. When I pulled the stock ones out, I tore up two of them, so stock is out of the question. But 3 of the MSD's are way too long and I know I have the right P/N. I am just trying to smooth the idle out a little more and get the right length wire at the same time.
Thanks Jim.

I bought a new set of Taylors last year. Two of them broke in less than a month when I pulled them off to check my plugs. I bought a set of MSD wiree to replace them. To be honest, I don't think you notice any difference in idle or power between stock wires and aftermarket ones. You may benefit from them, but it won't be enough for you to feel by driving.

I would not buy aftermarket plug wires, too many bad stories. Besides, the stock ones are fine.
