TB nitrous plate (junk???)
well, i finally got around to installing the NX wet kit today and was going to start with the plate part to make sure it would work right....IT DOESN'T.....
anyone notice what could be a problem as far as getting the feed lines into the nozzle???? ANYONE AT ALL????
anyone have any suggestions??? maybe if i went with an ALT bracket from a vette or Fbody it would work? and then i could just run fbody accesories right and use an LS style intake and the meizre whenever i get ready to do that??? Sorry the pics are so damn little but the bigger size wouldn't link up right...if you click on the pic in my sig you should be able to view the larger versions.

This might be a dumb idea, but the studs look like they make a triangle in relation to each other......could you just flip it around so the nozzle is on the other side? I know it wouldnt match up to the manifold but maybe it would still seal?

I wonder if you moved to an LS6 intake if the lines would be far enough below the alternator to clear? The TB would sit 3" lower with the LS6 intake. Also, I'd point the nozzle down at the spacer or front to the TB so the the nitrous and air would have a better chance to mix. If you are spraying directly in, there is a chance your front cylinders will not get as much spray as the rear.

tried to flip it...no luck there either. evidently whoever had this made never tried it, OR tried it and realized it wasn't gonna work as is and sold it.... i'm thinking about plugging that hole and having another set done 1 above the current one, and one on the other side....???

i also contacted a local performance shop today RPM for anyone that knows locally...anyways, they are bad *** and were telling me they could hard line the NX kit (kinda like what a DP kit uses) that way it wouldn't be a clearance issue and it would be a more consistant line size etc. anyone have an opinion on that?

if it were me I'd go for the hard line install but ask to see other installs they have done or doing if at all posible to see the craftmanship before you dip into your wallet. Also see if the lines can be hidden so no one sees you have nitrous....if you care about being sneeky.

it could be hidden easily with a 6.0 engine cover.....but i'm not really that sneaky about my setup....it's hard to claim you're stock with a big cam and cutouts open. i've seen a few direct port setups they've done and they are SWEET but havn't seen a regular NX kit hardlined but CJ there at RPM has done several he said. i think this is probably the easiest/best route.....guess i have some stuff to get done in the next week or so....oh well. SLOW, you coming down next saturday?
