Default T'body spacer?

Is this worth buying? I have an Airade intake.
Any mpg increase?

What does the 02 4.8 silverado usually run in the 1/4?
Standerd cab long bed 4X4

Thanks

I have the Powerair TB spacer. Not sure if its worth the cash. At certain rpm's it whistles quite loud.

i have it on my 4.8. i did notice a little more hp in the upper rpm's. but only like 4-5hp past 3000 rpm. for the money it is not worth it. i would of rather bought pulleys.

Got one on mine too. I feel the same way about it as the others do. It does make a cool sound, if you like that kind of thing. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> I have a Helix, you can see it in my pics in my signature. The only problem I had was that with the stock intake tube it's hard to get back on the TB because of the fan shroud.

i had to cut the lip on the fan shroud for my intake tube to go back on. i have a 2000 so i dont know if the 99's or 01-02's would be easier since they both have different intakes.
