The outside diameter is the same on both tb. I reused my K&N intake.

Okay, thanks, I'm running the factory intake still and wanted to make sure it would fit.

Has anybody run this intake on a stock 5.3 and had any problems with it, I read another thread where one member put it on a 5.3 with a low lift cam and lost power, saying the runners were too big or something like that. Just want to know if this would be a worthwhile mod

Sorry about the late reply... but yeah the ebay TB (the one I got anyway, not sure which you're looking at specifically?) I got is still working great. I think it's probably a bit of a roll of the dice to get one, since I bet their tolerances aren't quite as tight, so you may end up with a lemon, or like in my case, a cherry.

Bringing up an old thread...

curious to know if anyone has used push lock fittings and hose? And could the 99'-02' fuel lines be cut, flared, and a ferrule/fitting be employed? I've used the ferrule/fitting deal on PS pressure lines and transmission lines in the past. Just wondering if it is a viable option vs. welding fittings to the factory lines. (I am just not comfortable welding them)

Everything else looks straight forward, the lines appear to be the biggest hurdle.

TIA
