Default tbss intake install

im gonna put putting a new style intake on my ss. I've read all the ins and outs but have a quick question.

im gonna use a adapter so i can run my stock tb till i get a ls3 and x link. the adapter is in the mail and missing the o ring that comes on it. does anyone know if this o ring is biscally the one on my new style intake still? meaning i can use it and the one off my stock one for adapter?

also are the intake gaskets the same for both?

and i can't find any solid info on the evap system. is it pretty much plug and play?

Intake gaskets are the same. EVAP solenoids use the same plugs but not in the same place. EVAP solenoid for the NNBS is different as it mounts on the fuel rail.

I haven't used that adapter. I just found a 90mm TB on tech for cheap. Swap is quick and easy as long as you have your fuel rails figured out. If you don't have a New style evap solenoid. I have a new one in the wrapper from GM I can part with..

i would like to know what throttle body to use also if your doing a tbss swap on a '01 truck that has a 3-bolt, cable throttle body... what would i use? did they make a cable 87/90mm tb? or do i need to order some kind of adapter and bigger tb or do they have an aftermarket tb that is 4 bolt, but cable pull?
