There's the catch. I was wondering how that would work out, especially since you can't "adjust" the FPR, which you would need the capability of doing if your going to tune it right. I assume instead of manipulating the fuel pressure, tuners keep it at wherever the vette filter regulates (40psi?) and just manipulate the injector pulse width?

That looks very professional. I like that setup. You have NOW inspired me to do this manifold swap on my 2002 Silverado 2500HD. I have seen others do it but it looked very craptastic or chopped up. The real question is- has anyone done "just" a manifold swap and have any dyno sheet proof of gains? Does the NNBS intake have more plenum volume, are the runners a different length, or is it just the nicer (larger) throttle body opening that helps out?
If you don't mind me asking, who sells a TB that's cable actuated with the correct sensor hookups that bolts directly to the TBSS intake?
I seen that Edelbrock has the #3869, which I figure everyone uses?

I agree it needs to look good.
Any of the aftermarket thottle bodies you buy should accept the factory IAC and TPS sensors. You just unbolt them from your stock Tb and transfer it over.
The main thing for me on the this swap is the need for a throttle bracket for the throttle wires. I just wish someone made one that is bolt on. People that can weld have fabricated nice bolt on brackets. I just dont want to end up ghetto-rigging it and having it fall apart while driving. The rest of the stuff is pretty straightforward.
The other thing to remember is if you use the vette fuel regulator you have to alter the tune for it accordingly or the fueling will be all messed up.

I don't think so... the options that I know about are either using the corvette fuel regulator like in this post or to buy a fpr and hook everything up with stainless steel braided lines. You could even modify your factory cross over by cutting it, welding fittings on each side, and connecting the two rails with a stainless braided line screwed onto the fittings. Just do a search, there are threads on each method.

guys with the tbss already on. how much of a difference did ya feel after the swap? i saw a post where someone "claimed" they lost hp with switching to this intake? my buddy whos got one of the quickest tbss's in the midwest was the one who sold me the intake and informed me id probably gain 10-15 horse with my 4.8 before the cam, i trust his judgement id just like to know what your guys responses were

I went from a 14.8@94 with a DA of about 1500 with stock 31.5" tires to a 14.8@94 with a DA of about 4000 with 32.6" tires. It should be around 14.5 if the DA was around 1500. This was before the cam.
