Default Tbss manifold on dbc truck

It seems like the tbss manifold is the one of choice to go with instead of spending 1k for a fast. But I have only seen you guys do the swap on drive by wire trucks. How and who has done the swap on a return and drive by cable truck? If I have missed a thread of this being done please guide me in the right direction

Not sure who has done it, but I believe that an older Corvette throttle body will work?...not 100% sure, but I'll bet that someone here is

I thought all corvette TBs were DBW? OP, if you're interested in a TBSS intake and return fuel rails, I have one. I was going to swap it onto my 6L but I lack the motivation to do so. If so, PM me.

Thunder550 had one on his truck. Looks like the photos are gone. Maybe he can re-up them for you if you have any questions.

Not sure what years this one covers, but it's cable driven, and I know that some F-body 75mm tb's were cable driven...

Here's one off of an 01 Trans Am

...all of the 00-04 OEM Vette throttle bodies that I saw in my quick ebay search did have throttle motors bolted to them though, so maybe it was F-body that I was thinking of? Not sure if the bolt patterns are the same though...

yeah, pretty sure the Fbody TB's are the same as the truck TB as far as bolt pattern is concerned. If he swaps to a TBSS intake though, he'll need a 4 bolt 90mm throttle body.

Jantzer performance has a 90mm cable TB, along with Fast and Nick Williams. You'll need to make a custom cable bracket though, which is where I am at with mine right now.

one solution could be cheaper and that's to change the gas pedal to one out of a dbw truck. I am installing a dbw tb in my '85 which is cable driven of course. I cut my pedal off and welded one in out of a 2005 truck

I would do a search over on LS1Tech about why you shouldn't buy from Jantzer Performance. Don't want anyone over here to get F'd over.
