Well I finally got to put it in tonight. Took 6 hours taking my time and using a lift, tranny jack, etc. I found out after getting the other converter in and the tranny back in place that TCI failed to mention that one of the holes on the flexplate is smaller than the other two. Boy that was fun. Anyway the truck is a totally different animal now. With 33 inch tall tires and 3.73 gears I spun all the way through first and part of second. The bitch is mean. Have serious traction issues now. Not all good news though. I have to do more tuning now. Wants to stall out at low rpms and when stopping. Guess I will try to up the idle speed in gear and see if that helps. I am open for suggestions for the tune. Let me know what you guys have done for the tune issues. Later people, time for ***** and bed. Well maybe just bed.

How is it as far as drivability? Is it loose? Thanks.

 

Yep its loose but I will get used to it. Takes a lot more gas to get it moving from a stoplight but hammer down the throttle and my tires hate me.
