Default TCI tq converter?

Is the TCI converter pretty good? I was looking at the street fighter and I think it stalls 3000 rpms. I'm looking for something around a 3000 stall. I like the yanks but there pretty expensive.

I just installed the street fighter on my truck. I've only driven it about 100 miles so far, but it is a blast to drive. It flashes to 3000rpm, but I can only foot brake it to about 2600-2700rpm. It locks up just fine, I can cruise at 50mph at around 1500rpm. I don't have any track times, but I know Pewter5.3 does, I think it took off over a half second in the quarter! Hopefully he'll chime in.

It fries the **** out of my one tire, and I know it's gonna kick *** when I get a cam.

i have heard good and bad about them. I think Whitt1 on here has had bad luck with them. I had one in my old z28 and never had a problem with it.

...Soon to find out for myself. I hope these things don't have a shelf life, because mine has been on my floor since January.
