Tell me about Autotap and tranny coolers!!!
Have a couple of questions fellas.
First: I am in the process of rebuilding my 60e and adding a TCI converter. I really would like to run some type of tranny cooler on this thing (such as B&M Supercooler). I was wondering where people are mounting their coolers? What needs to be done to the stock one? Do I have to reuse the OEM lines or can I run some kind of flex braided steel hose? Oh and which one is best?
Second: I am considering purchasing Autotap for when I put my cam and heads in. I was wondering if I could get a combination where I would be able to do my truck, maybe a friends, and some F-bodies (would like to do my truck and a 02 T/A specifically)? What would this cost? What all can Atap do?
Thanks!

I had my tranny cooler mounted right behind the grille. I took to the dealership and a tech did it for $50.
Auto Tap is a great tool. It simply allows you to log and scan different perameters. Im not too familiar with what years and models it is able to read, but you will also need a writing program like LS1 Edit.
