About this cam for my setup. 226/226 .585 112+3. I'm running an ls1 with ported 5.3 heads so about 11:1 right? 3200 stall, longtubes basically fully bolted. I know everyone hates cam questions but I've searched and can't quite decide on a cam. I wanna know what everyone thinks. This truck will see alot of street action, not much on the track. If anyone wants to throw out some better specs Id like to hear. Oh btw ill be running 410 gears as well.

Anyway I think it would run good on the streets, but maybe bump it up to a 9.5" 3400 converter at least. What kind of 3200 converter was it going to be, were you looking at a 278mm 3200? Oh and is this a reg cab truck or what?

Do you know which converter series it is? Is it a 278mm 11" diameter or is it a pro series billet with a smaller diameter single/multi disk?
I would just run what you got for now, but if its the 278mm 11" reworked TB stall then you might want to look into upgrading to circleD's pro series 3400-3600rpm later on especially since you have a ecsb. If all you are going to be doing is roll racing then the 3200 you have now should be fine. The pro series would help you get off the line quicker though and have better shift extensions vs the 278mm.
