There are different methods, but I basically grabbed the upper hose and squeezed it a few times, and also kinda pulled it downward (on a cool engine not running), while observing the overflow. I would pull it downward and actually could see, hear, and feel air bubbling through the system and escaping through the overflow. I've used this method on a few different manufacturer's engines that are prone to air pockets and it always works for me

Checked the codes with tech 2 and efi live and nothing came up in the history so I guess I'm just gonna wait and see if the problem happens again

Also when the cam was done the radiator was taken out and there's nothing blocking it. The truck has been running fine for 3 weeks now.

I'd still try blowing it out, there can be a lot of stuff inside the fins that you don't see. And have you been running the A/C full blast before this incident?
