I've never seen anyone give a visual inspection in nevada. i even have the carb sticker on my radix, but both times i've been smogged, they havent even popped my hood.

what do u mean by sticker?

an inspection sticker. i just want to be able to run long tubes and still be able to pass emissions, thats all. i dont know anyone that does inspections so i cant get around the smog test.

Go right to the Mass DOT and ask them. The answer may be on the website as well. If you see a loophole, print it out with a time/date stamp and mod on. I had an issue when I was in NJ with my ASM's. They didn't like them but the "02's were in place, Cats were in the "stock" location and the dimeter of piping was OEM spec with no DTC codes". I copied that right from the inspection manual in NJ and had it signed by the inspection station. The only thing they could have been picky about was not exiting in the stock location.

Are the Thorley Tri-Y's legal in CA? It is a mid length tube and I'm able to run cats with it.

they aren't real long tubes if you can use your factory y-pipe and converters.

Agreed, but better than shorties. Just throwing another option out there.
