Is there ever a point where you question the point of trying to make a truck fast?
Sometimes I wish I had a 3500lb car. All the stuff I've spent my money on, lq9, tune, full exhaust, ported tb...i should be well over 400 hp at the crank....yet my truck is still seeminly slow as *****. There's something inherently interesting and fun about trying to make a 5100lb pig fast though....it's a little different from most other people. I'm thinking my next vehicle will definitely be a little sports/muscle car (If they're still even around when I'm ready to buy ) with a MANUAL trans....I'm so freaking sick of automatic trans. I want to choose what gear I'm in, not the computer. Rant off.

My madness just has to stop now. I can't get as deep as most of you guys lol. I was just about to spend $900 on nitrous to add a 125 wet shot. The though of 425rwhp and 500rwtq sounds intoxicating....but if i blow my motor? my trans? argg.

Im with KYSilverado, anybody can make a car run 12's-11'10's.. To do it with a truck, IMO you gain more respect from people, esp at the track,, Also in my area, I havn't seen one truck that is fast, the look on a vette, stang or f-body is priceless when you pull them like they are backing up.. I don't regret dumping a load of money into it, get disgusted time to time..
