im running a 160 and always says 180 on the temp guage hp tuner shows me around 170.

I've run a 160 since I got the truck and had the same gas mileage. Around town I've never been above 176* and never below 174*. The hottest it ever got was I believe 180 since I was sitting in a parking lot when my outside temp gauage read 120. The reason I installed the 160 is to lower IAT's and also help out the a/c during the summer.

btw, for those who might not know you can get the 04+ thermostats for 17 bux at AutoZone now.

parts number? and do they say gen 3 or what? my tahoe needs one.
