my experience with a colder stat was it does you absolutely no good unless you get an electric fan set up. the temp would rise to 175deg, pause for about 5 minutes then continue up to 200deg or so, then the fan would start to pull some air and it would stay at 200. it might run a little cooler going down the highway but who cares what the temp is then, i want it nice and cool waiting in the staging lanes <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

seems like when i looked into that free mod people were using a bb, i never tried it but a colder stat came with the whipple
