Default Thermostatically controlled w/ Nelson fan harness

I have got a set of LS1 E-Fans and the Nelson Harness. I don't have a way to tune the PCM right now. I use LS1edit on my Camaro but I am working on purchasing HPtuners. I would like to go ahead and install the fans. Is there a way to use the Nelson harness with one of the thermostatically controlled deals with the probe that goes in the radiator. I have found some that the local auto parts store sells but wouldn't begin to know how to wire it in. Any ideas how to do this until I get a tune?

If the thermo probe grounds to turn the fans on, then all you would have to do is take the blue wire that goes to pin 42 of the PCM and wire it to the thermo probe, and you're in

What I did..in haste.... Is purchased a Painless LS Thermo Switch for around $30.
It threads into the passenger cylinder head rear coolant port, and you just run an extention wire from the switch to the fan relay. For whatever reason, my PCM would not turn the fans on.
The "signal" from the PCM going to the Nelson Relay is a ground trigger. In other words, the Pin that they want you to stick in the PCM - connect it to the fan switch.

Painless Performance Part Number: 30113
205F on, 195F off.
