Yah being boosted will help over being NA and losing power, my verter is 3200, but if I have to gas it more to achieve the same thing as my truck intake, I duno.. Or I might not even notice, thats why I wish there was more info available...The fukn XT's are just to much money new, esp the black one I want...

I didn't feel a noticeable power loss or gain between the two intakes. Truck does awesome on the street and this is the most driver friendly set up I have ever had except for wot traction. I use my truck week nights and weekends only and burn company gas rest if time. If I could get a do-over I would use the proflow intake and get rid if Vic and elbow.

Interesting.. I am strongly leaning towards the pro flow, but *** they are a ton of money IMO.. Just wish I could pull up some dyno's with boost on the vic jr, to see if it drops like it does on a NA set up

my friend is using the prolfow on his truck and it works awesome. here is a run down of his setup. 402 short block 9.5:1 CR with bone stock 317's and proflow intake not ported, just the way it comes out of the box. hes running a Noribilt turbo kit and hes very consistant with a 10.30 @138 MPH with it. his truck is full weight and has a stereo system and cage. its very heavy and it moves ver well.

Yah no doubt, but to be honest I am getting a little bored of the truck, fig this would be a nice mod for HP and also some eye candy. Just want it to be the right one.. Yah most of the results I have come up with on the vic has been on a NA setups, either carb or with the TB style fuel injection. There isn't **** on EFI or boost app's. I would hate to do the vic, it be a total dog.. Waiting on some pricing now on a proflow from a buddy of mine..

To be honest Russ the heat soak issue doesn't bother me really. I think it is over rated, but some will disagree.. If the IC is efficient, there should be no issue.. But honestly I have not heard any thing about it
