They really need to get more results on the XT and vic jr intakes

I would tend to agree, it would interesting to see some data on a pair of thermocouples, 1 placed at the t-body and 1 at the intake port entry. I can't see dramatic temp. increases, esp. with the volume of air moving at WOT.

Why spend that much on an intake to gain 25 hp up top when jets are so cheap? Give her a little more snort...
If your bored with the truck build something else cool... Can never have to many toys! IMHO

Exactly.
I have the intake on the back of the blower, which is right above the headers, engine ect, even driving around town on a 90 deg day my IAT's never have been over 110 while logging..

Cuz it looks cool, it actually makes hp... I am kinda looking for a 86-91 stang LX with out a engine or tranny But have not found one for a decent price.. A 4.8 or 5.3 with a small cam, big gears, verter on a small hit would be a nice beater. But i really have to many projects..

Like I said earlier I am prob going to pass on either intake now as my injectors wont fit either one
