Default Think I might have been given the wrong cam on accident.

I just picked up the cam from a friend of mine for my wife's Yukon. It is supposed to be a 212/218 high lift Comp. However when I look at the end of the cam it says 3706R/3652R HR113 D6240. I looked it up used the first numbers and which I believe are the lobe numbers. If so the cam is a 234/238 going by the 287 etched in it is a 238/240 or something. I am beginning to wonder if he might not have given me the F14 Futral cam he has by accident. If anyone can help me please do so, I am supposed to be taking this to the machine shop tomorrow and I need to know ASAP. Maybe I am doing my research wrong.

If I am reading the lobe numbers right this is a 234/238 .576 .585 on what I believe the HR113 means hydraulic roller on a 113 LSA if that is the case this cam won't do too well in a Yukon XL weighing in at 6000lbs nor with the LS6 springs I ordered to use on the XR265HR

Yeah.....not looking for something to sound like a beast. I would be happy with a stock L92 type idle in the new Denali/Escalade and around 330whp. So is what I am looking at correct? The whole 287 being etched in doesn't match the lobe numbers at all.

I might just put this bitch up for sale and order something else for it. Like maybe a TR224 or something. As long as the lift is less than .580 because I bought some LS6 springs off here to run and I really don't want to run an aftermarket spring because of the extra noise they make.

Could also be Advertised duration and not .050?

Edit: nevermind. I see the same results you did. That'd be a nice upgrade for my 5.3 until i'm ready for my 370. If you wanted to trade I'd pay shipping.
