They sound great but dont make much power. I've observed a few folks that have bought them, posted impressive idle vids, than a month later the cam is in the classifieds. If your going to spend the time and money to swap cams why not get a cam that sounds like that and makes power?

I have been looking at these cams for a little while as well, and there are mixed reviews all over the place. Some people love them, and some people hate them. They have been known to be more of a "show" cam rather than a performance cam, but in some cases have produced significant gains.
I love choppy idles, so the specs on these cams are really appealing, but I want my truck to pull like a train up top, so a custom grind cam may be in order.

In my mind the problem is that a thumper cam makes your truck sound like a 10 second drag strip warrior. It must suck to then go to the track and run a 16. Its kind of like having a nitrous purge kit without running nitrous. You might be able to impress some people but if you cant back it up whats the point? They do sound good though, I'll give you that.

im running the 219/233 and i love it! it all depends in the tuning and set up. you will need atleast a 3k stall and gears to get the most out of this cam.. im runnin a 3k stall an 4.56s and im happy with it.. im ready to dyno it to see exactly what im laying down with this set up
chevrolade just ran the cam with no stall an 3.23s iirc
