yeah that 114 would idle like stock
Id go
047 or 062

I got the 062 and it does well
the 3000 verter didnt do anything except let me leave a little harder
off the line and lets me smoke the tires easier

that 114 is gonna idle alot smoother and move the powerband up a touch
but may be a good decision if you ever decide on FI

Id do the 062 again if I knew for sure I wasnt goin with a stall
but with a stall in the future the 055 or something like a tr224
would be better

keep in mind weight plays a factor in all this too
you have a rcsb 2wd so you can be a little more aggressive
in your decision compared to someone with a heavier
vehicle

The cam was installed straight up. The vehicle has a stock torque converter and launches with no hesitation. With this cam and this LSA there is absolutely no loss of torque anywhere. It runs very well without a tune, but the Crane tuner REALLY wakes it up. Power increased everywhere as well as improved smoothness of part throttle driveability. You might not think that you can increase throttle response and improve part throttle smoothness, but this cam/tuner combination does it. Absolutely no need for more converter and I have had lots of vehicles with high stall converters. A little more stall will only improve an all ready good launching combination. I will not argue that a narrower LSA would probably make a little more mid range power and you would feel the engine "coming on the cam"; but that wasn't what I wanted (been there done that). I wanted a total increase in performance everywhere with outstanding smoothness and crisp response and that is what I have!!

Sorry, no I don't. The Crane tuner allows you to raise your idle speed in 50 RPM increments. I have mine set 100RPM over stock and the engine sounds dead smooth; no slight tremor in the steering or anything. If you leave the idle speed stock, there is a slight rump, rump to it. I like subtlety and having people think I'm just an old guy with my dogs in my Tahoe, then I smoke 'em!
At 100RPM over stock there is no excessive creeping at idle, either. Hope this helps!
