I'll have to check my records, I got the cam, springs, titanium retainers, spring seats, rockers with screw in studs, guide plates, pushrods, and install with gaskets and everything for about $1700. That was about a year ago. I had purchased the tuner prior to the installation and it was about 430 at the time. I'm pretty sure Roger gave me a good deal. I'll check out the cam price tomorrow and get back to you.

thanks, I have been going back and forth on what I want to do with the truck. My whole goal is to get the truck to run high 13's(14's with my elevation). So I figure LT's, Cam, Trans go, and a outstanding tune should get me close to my goal. If not, I know it should be an awesome daily driver.

Well I think I am going to go with a custom grind cam. I dont know what it will consist of, but atleast I can get it the burger king way. If anyone has their thoughts of the perfect grind please tell.

I am looking for no stall needed. good power from 1k - 6k rmps. I am lost in the woods when it comes to this. The cams mentioned earlier are what I was going to go off of to get a custom grind.

Thanks
Erick

Your requirements sound exactly like mine did when I was shopping. My cam is ideal with no stall and 3.73's. Pickup right off the line is killer, amazing what that cam did for the behavior of my truck. The only regret I have is going to 4.10's. Now I run out of gear all the time, my gas mileage has taken a dive, and I've gained next to nothing. I wish I had stayed with the 3.73's and will likely swap back soon. See my sig for the cam I ended up choosing, it is great for what you are asking for.

Naked,

Thanks for the advice. I am going to get it done in April. I just want to make sure I get the cam I want.

Thanks
Erick

When you call Cam Motion to buy or talk about your options, ask for Terry, he will hook you up. Tell him Kevin with the Avalanche sent you. Good luck.
