Yea ive thought about that cam too, how much rpm would it pull with your
setup?
its been better than the tsp 220/114 for sure. sounds nasty. makes better upper rpm hp, and took some low end tq. et's are as good as the 220 cam in cold weather, in hot weather. I think the tr224 cam grind is better in a larger cube motor, and a 224r .581 would be better in my 5.3. there's one on tech right now, just search 224 cam. I got a shop we could swap them side by side.

It was more for bottom end torque. I could stomp just about anything from a dead stop to 3rd gear

again, there are better ones out there. I've done several swaps with the low and high lift 212/218. Its an all around cam
Awesome, thats really what im lookin for something that pulls all around.
I almost went with that cam in my iron 5.7. How did the 212/218 do?

Dang, well maybe you should leave it in there till the cool weather hits, Id be anxious to see what it does if it pulls the same time in hot weather!

The TR220 seems to do well in all of the truck motors, the powerbands shift a little bit, but it always pulls hard from what I've seen...
