To a certain extent. A gas engine does need some backpressure. And whose john I'de like to look at his setup??

Are you talking about mangled03gmc, he posted on the first page(post 7). He has pacesetters right now and is looking for some larger headers because he is moving alot of hot air!

I decided on the OBX's. The 2.5" collector wont make a difference for me and other than that it's all plusses over the pacesetters: stainless steel, flanges, and dummy cats.

If you are still up in the air, give JET HOT a call, they offer a life time warranty on there coated headers, I do believe, still are cheaper then stainless..

Except in my application the OBX would be a major pain in the ****. I think I'm gonna contact JET-HOT tommarow. See how much there sterling silver coating is.......

My ride is 4wd, and I dont really want to put a big dent in my headers.

hmm, that sucks. I think a good coating on the Pacesetters will cost at least $250. That puts you in the $700-800 range....might want to look into a used set of Dynatech's for that price.
