Default For those that are curious as to how the cam is performing

Well went to the track tonight.
Humidity was 100%
not really a good night to run, but I was curious, and ran anyways
note to everyone tho.

the truck is not really tuned for this cam. it basically idles, and runs so I can drive it around town.
My shift points are incorrect, and I manually had to shift the truck going down the track.
If I let the Pcm shift it would start shift into 2nd gear as soon as I left off of the brake when stalling.(not good)
so after figuring out that the truck wasnt going to shift right on it's own I attempted another run, after seriously thinking of going on to the house.
but I continued on.

so with hardly any tuning for the cam, I ran a 14.400, @ 94 MPH.( best time before this was a 14.51@ 91-92 MPH)
Also had a couple of good KILLS at the track. the biggest one of the night was a 2004 350Z. I think he was peeing in his pants when I took off from him at the line. I put about a car length on him, although he made almost all of it back up at the end it just wasnt enough.
I went against him 3 times tonight, and beat him 2 out of the 3 times.
also ran an 04 Lightning and he only beat me by about a car length.
that surprised me and made me feel pretty good
there is alot of tuning that needs to be done and I will be getting it done with in the next few weeks. I will update on more times then

Your fortune cookie reads:
"You will posses a 13sec timeslip in the near future"

Sorry I just ate Chinese food. Killer time man, what were your 60fts, and how was your traction. 14.4 @94 seems like your getting descent traction, or is the cam just a dog down low?

Glad to see that the cam is working out for you though. I might consider a cam like that for my lil' 4.8. Good luck tuning!

How high are you wanting to shift the cam? What were you shifting at the track?

I was wondering when we would hear from you about the meet tonite ... I'm glad to hear you got things running good and the cam is working out good.

I still had more mph with my "little" cam and no tuning.

But I'm sure that will change once the shift points are set. I can't wait to see some 13's outta that truck! :thmbup
