If you are saying you have a ses light because you have no rear o2's hooked up, slap some plug defoulers in there and replaced the rear o2's. Why would you delete them if you kept converters though? maybe I misread the post, lol.
Yes the defoulers work, I ran them for 2 years with out converters, never had a SES light, passed emissions NP..

Yes, you cant have a SES light illuminated. There is acamera that monitors the vehicle being tested, the tech must take apicture of the screen of the scan tool sowing no SES light flags are being triggered.
Now about the tuning, on my 1997 I would pass the roller test, even though I didnt have my EGR hooked up, and I did have cats.
I am wondering if I turn off the reporting of the rear O2 sensors and the EGR reporting, is that enough. Or will the scan tool show that the OBD2 cycle is not complete?
I just heard about this and it sucks. If its only a metter of not having a SES light we are golden, but if it shows that the OBD2 cycle as not completed, we are all screwed. EGR will have to be hooked up, and some sort of cheater rear O2 sensor setup if you arent running cats. I run cats anyways, running catless just stinks literally, I hate that smell, And modern cats dont restrict like cats of the late 70's and 80's did. Cats arent that expensive either.
If anyone gets their rear O2's turned off, or EGR reporting/function turned off via PCM tuning and passes still, please let us know.
I feel bad for the shops that spent the money to install the rollers.
