Default those with magnaflow cats

well yesterday i am pulling my exhaust down to paint it so it wont rust. i get to the cat pipes and pull them down and here is what i see

and i thought well crap these didnt last very long, i had them on for about 1500-2000 miles, i think it was from a couple of runs that i made while running it pretty rich. these are the supposed high flow maggie cats (59599) and i thought they would be able to handle a bit more than this. anyway im deceidign weather or not to replcae them or gut them right now. i know i have some more tuning to do so ill probably gut them for now and replace when i get everything dialed in.

what a nice christmas present , santa killed my kittie's

hmm, I not running anywhere near the engine you're running, but I've had a set on my truck for 2 years and they haven't given me any trouble.

I heard bad things about the prior version of Magnaflow's cats, supposedly this iteration was supposed to be better. These are the new ones, right?
