For those thinking of buying Pacesetter Headers

Default For those thinking of buying Pacesetter Headers

For you folks that live in an area where it snows and they put salt down, I wouldn't buy Pacesetter LTs, even if they are coated.

The following pictures are ceramic coated Pacesetter LTs after 2 New England winters...





If I had to do it all over again, I think I'd buy the OBX headers.

Man that sucks. Thank god I live in Florida and we don't have to worry with that stuff. But to be honest even living here and dealing with constant rain year round pacesetter's will turn a little after a year or so definately. But not anything like that.

Wow man, that salt really ate right through the coating! Glad mine don't see those conditions.

That sucks. It definitely looks like it has the VD! I just ordered a set from Speed Engineering on sale. Hopefully these nasty LA winters don't torture them too bad LOL!

tell me about it i live in mass also ive only had mine on for about a year and i dont even drive my truck in the winter and there all rusty should have sacked up and bought a set of stainless ones pacesetters are junk in my book the welds look lik sh@# also but you get what you pay for . surprised they havent rotted though the collectors glad my truck dosent see any winters just had to rub it in a little kevin
