Ive heard bad things about the taylors from a couple of buddies with 1000+ hp dragsters they like to come apart. I was gonna go with them for the price but now Im going with MSD or Moroso thank god for price hook ups.
Im wondering about people with moroso or the fancy tuner ones with attached grounds.
Everyone I talk to seems happy with MSD and thier durability/reliability.

I've got the MSD 8.5's on my Avalanche and haven't had any issues with them in the 2-1/2 years they have been on.
There are several threads going around on Corvette Forum that indicate that there have been quite a few issues with the plug connectors on the MSD wires. The consensus there seems to be either stock or Moroso.

Between the three trucks over the years
I had MSD,
Magnecores and Thundervolts.
Now I'm running the Taylor 409's simply because there blue and match my truck.
I think the taylors were good.

I've read somewhere before that the factory plug wires have very little resistance in them. Making them a very good plug wire.
Unless you have changed to a higher powered set of coils, I see no reason to have bigger plug wires. That is unless your just after a different color wire.
Don't replace the OE wires unless you just feel the need to have a different color or look under the hood.
Other than that, you will see no gains in spark or performance.

Since I am the ****-Retentive/OCD type, I measured the factory wires when replacing them with the MSD 8.5s and found them to have about 4.3K ohms of resistance. The MSD's came in at ~40 ohms. Pretty much a direct short from the coil to the spark plug.
