But i do plan on installing a cam in a couple weeks, just finally got me a lil beat around truck. Might order new ones tho. that is alot of miles on somethhing aftermarket like that.

But im still running the stock lift lq4 cam to. Might not even be stressing the springs with it having low lift i would think. What about yall?
Hmmm, tough call...as you mentioned, the stock cam hasn't been stressing the springs at all, and from the research that I've done, PAC uses the highest quality wire available for the price. If it were me, and I had the dough, I'd probably replace them while I was in there though, just for piece of mind. ****, even with 30k on them, I'm sure that if you put the old ones in the classifieds someone would buy them.

This would be a good question for one of the reps at PAC I believe...maybe you should give them a call

I've got 67,000 kms (41,350 miles) on my 1218's with at TSP220 (.581 lift) with no issues that I know of. I'm tossing in a 6.0 with the same cam and plan to replace the springs in the next month and I will probably run 1218's again. This is through two winters of starting well below freezing. In the winter time I did wait until the temp needle moved before driving it though.
