thoughts on a 222/224 with a 112 lsa in a 5.3...

To be honest, on a CC I'd run a smaller intake duration than I would on a RC. A 216/224 will probably give you the peak power numbers you're after without as cushy bottom-end.

I have a 218/222 110 that I'm gonna eventually put in my truck. Previous owner had it in a 5.3 CC and said it pulled hard.

Alright sounds like we have many opiniins on performance .... which cam has a really choppy idle?

we put this cam in my brothers vett, 11.1-1 cr ls1 the power came in at about 3500, it would work real well with 4k stall. Unless you don't plan to run at the track with a sticky tire then a 3200-3400 would work fine. It lopes good too. Id put a 218-218 high lift 110 + 5 in it if were mine.

i have a 222/226 595 605 112*4 in a crew cab 5.3 with 3.73 and a 10" circle d 3500 converter and it runs hard..but im thinking about doing 430 gears and the tbss intake

I have a 206/212 112 in my Tahoe and not real impressed with the bottom end but after 2800 it's on!!

i am probably going to run a similar speced cam with less lift same duration in a rcsb 82 c10 with 4.11s and a 3200 circle d and tbss intake with all the bolt ons, have an idle clip or track times?

I have a video of my truck idling if you send me an email address or a phone number. It's pretty choppy and really turns heads coming from a crew cab truck lol.
