Thoughts on Powertrax...
I think I'm gonna use m tranny core return charge for a new rearend, because this pegleg crap is useless. I am looking @ Powertrax mainly because of the ease of installation. Most say that it is a pretty easy "do it yourselfer" whereas some say to "take an Eaton to a gear shop."
So, tell me about it.... Any before/after numbers with it?

I recently installed one in my truck along with some 4.10's.
It is pretty much fully locked all the time. This means chirping tires and "wheelhop" making tight turns, such as a parking lot. At speed though it is fine. My ABS has the fuse out of it (long story) so I can't vouch for the ABS situation.
My suggestion: if its a daily driver that needs to be easy to drive, don't do Powertrax go with an Eaton.
On the other hand, if its not a daily driver or you really don't give a **** and think breaking stuff is cool (like me) then go for the Powertrax because for all out *****-to-the-wall you can't beat a locker!
