If you give it hell everyday and drive it like you stole it with no tm then it isnt going to last long. If my dad would have driven my truck then the original tranny might still be in there. 80% tm removal max with stock IMO. Get a shift kit and servos then take 100% out. JMO though.

does it matter if you do the transgo user-install or the professional install (hd2 reprogramming kit)?

every tranny shop i go to says that a transgo will bang through the gears and is suitable only for older trannys and for track applications.

is there a way to beef up the tranny enough to drop tq management and still drive like stock? cause i like the way the tranny shifts right now.

also, can we get clarification on whether the tow/haul button can change every parameter? i'm poking around the demo of efilive and i dont see anything that says tow/haul button
