I'm still a moderator over there on the 3L forum and still do a fair share of 2.5 SVT, regular 2.5, and Zetec Contour throttle bodies for the CEG. Been a member there since it was a mailing list only back in late '98. Dang, time's fun when you're having flies... or something like that...

I've still got the dyno plots of my customer who did the back to back runs for me before and after too. It's a good site, with lots of info. Sometimes there are to many search ****'s over there though... Let me know if you ever have any problems with anyone over there and I'll set them straight.

There's no question that the flow bench would show better numbers. Larger hole (or in this case, less blockage of the hole at WOT) always flows more air when there's no port to speak of. I've had my modified 600 CFM carbs flowed at over 700 CFM, but I've never had any TB's flowed yet...

I just don't know what it's going to do on a stock truck, where the TB isn't going to be as much of a restriction to the system. I wish it were going on a basic bolt on truck to make the most of the mod , but hey, if it gets anything on a stock truck it's all the more better for the modded ones.

Any news on this throttle body? I haven't gotten anything from you and I've PM'ed you regarding it with no response...

I just sent blownchevy a PM yesterday about it since I hadn't gotten any feedback from him yet. His optimized core throttle body was sent out last month...

get a dremel and go to town. its only takes 5 min to get the tb on and off. you won't loose any hp. i am curious to see if does flow any better. i didn't notice any difference when i did mine. i grinded and polished the **** out of it. 1-2 hp tops probably.

Does it look like this when it was done? (left ported, right stock)

BTW, you need more muscle than a dremmel to get it done right. 1/4" chuck die grinder and 2" sanding drums baaaaybaaaaaay!
