Why don't you stick a Stock TB back on your truck and call it a day?
It seems quite a few people are suffering problems related to modifying the stock TB. The stocker is around what 72mm? I have seen plently of fast cars on 65-70mm TB's so do something else with your cash and time.
I thought the ported TB would have been good cheap mod but it seems not the case.

i think there was an article awhile back that might work, probably port your heads too. some ricers heard of the extrude hone system and tried it at home dumping sand into a running honda engine.

I don't know, I polished my throttle body and have had no trouble with mine. Funny also I looked at mine when I first did it, and it was dirty, now 3000 miles later it still looks completely clean. I only got 6000 miles on the truck!
