Those FAST TB's sure are nice, but man $$$$!! I think if you were going all out... Stroker, FI, cam, etc there would be something to gain by going to a larger TB. I dont think the power increase would justify the cost for me though. I'll stick to my worthless home ported TB and spend my cash on other things with proven substantial gains.

Yeah those fast TB's come in there own "Carrying Case"-LOL! No **** . I know you can get Shaner to send you a ported stock TB and then you send your back to them. I think they charge like $250. I agree unless your doing a stroker or a F1 I wouldnt wast the money. If you have a Dremel you can port your own very easily. I ported mine! Oh yeah If your gonna do like the Fast intake then It would be worth it. When I put the LS6 intake on my LS1 Im gonna do that expensive *** Fast TB but the intkake will make it worth while!

BBK is a waste IMO

The stock TB is good to about 500 or so RWHP then it starts to take a dump.

The Fast is nice, but the idle and drivability are somewhat compromised, I think it is more of a Race/WOT application.

from what I've read, the Aussie's are tuning 94mm TB's rather well.
Seems like as far as tuning goes they have an edge on us. But that's just my perception.

how would that effect drivability? idle i could see because i would think it would let to much air in at idle. im just clueless on the driveability.

none of those pictured TBs will work for your truck. The BBK might work if you bought a vette controller motor and changed out your electric harness ends.

Tuning a manual TB would be just like all the Fbody guys do. Tuning the electric will be more difficult, but similar to the vettes. I've tried with some success, but never could get it perfect. Read up on the vette TBs. Most of them prefer the Nick Williams 90mm TB because it retains the idle / part throttle characteristics of the stock TB.
