What mods can I do to give it better throttle response? Seems kinda sluggish right now...

I also like the stock airbox for low down throttle responce... I tried a few different configs, and I just like the stocker with a paper filter, or a drop-in if you've got a few mods. (I didn't notice anything from my drop-in until I got the exhaust on - and then it was only just a slightly revvier feeling top-end when I'd wind out first gear).
The cam I just put in rev's real quick in park or neutral, and throttle responce is sharp above 1,500rpm. There are some other grinds that I'm sure would extened the power lower if you want to keep things close to stock feeling - just stronger.

I've got MSD 8.5's on there now, and they work great... I had Taylors, but I kept breaking them when I'd pull them off the sparkplugs. They had weak crimps down there.
I've got those NGK TR55's, and I couldn't tell any difference with them - I just did it because everyone else was.
