Default thunder racing "old man cam"

Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
"Old Man Truck Cam" - 214/220 .600/.523 115 LSA 2 This is the perfect cam for someone looking for a stock range power band and stock sounding idle. Significant horsepower gains throughout the RPM range. No computer tuning required. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended

^from the website^

has anyone tried this camshaft? or heard anything about it? i have never seen any post on here about it. did a search and couldnt find anything either, i also have been looking for some idle vids of this camshaft but again to no avail.

seems as it would still have some good torque. no?

I never heard of anyone using it either, but I never understood the huge split in lift either bump for you.

A buddy of mine on here, Mr. Nobody, is running this cam in his 5.3 and we actually swapped it out last night for a different Thunder Racing cam. If you are interested in it he may be willing to sell it. As far as I know he was happy with it, but I think he just wanted to try something different.

the cam is a 300 hp cam being that bolt ons are required to get that 300, i didnt have a tune in my truck but i also didnt add the +2 timing i was suppose to because i was goin to throw a stall in so it was missin on the bottom end dept, it was a good cam and it was slightly noticeable only if ppl were lookin for it, hope this helps

I have installed several old man cams in 4.8s and 5.3s including Mr.Nobody its made to be used with stock exhaust and stall. But a 5.3 with full bolt ons and mild tune will make about 305rwhp
