Thunder Racing has ported stock TB's for the LS-1 F-Boddies. Will these work with our trucks as well? Does anyone have one? How is the craftsmanship?

They have two different ones for the LS-1 engines, which do I need (the one for the new LS-1's or the one for the older LS-1's)??

katech does them for thunder.

I just put mine from my trans am onto my 5.3 truck, works great.

only difference is the lower nipples for the coolant lines are routed different, no big deal!

VERY nice improvement on my truck!

the coolant lines arent a big deal since i'm going to be bypassing the TB coolant lines.

Did you get yours from thunder or from katech? Which one do I need, the newer or the older?

demon, isn't your 03 drive by wire??? you'll have to make sure you get a tb that accomidates for that if it is.

Yea, its drive by wire...i'll be sure to double check. I'm trying to find a reasonably priced 03 TB so I can do the work myself but i'm having no luck.
