time to order just a couple questions
okay so i am finally ready to order all of my parts.
but i have a couple questions to ask before i order all of the stuff.
first off i will say my truck is a 99 gmc sierra 5.3 z71 with a 4l60.
at first i was planning on going with the ht1 cam but i have decided instead to go with the tr220.
With the first cam i was told that i need this list of parts.
ls7 lifters
GM Performance Parts 12499225 - Lifter Kit, Gen III Engines, Set of 16 | SDParts - 1-800-456-0211
ls6 springs
GM Performance Parts 12499224 - Valve Spring Set, GM LS2, LS3, LS6, Set of 16 | SDParts - 1-800-456-0211
7.400 push rods
Manley Performance Parts 25735 - 7.400 Stock Length LS1 Manley Pushrods | SDParts - 1-800-456-0211
double roller timing chain
N Motion LS2/LS3/L76/L92 Double-Roller Timing Set
okay so first i would like to just make sure these are all of he right parts that i need and if anything else is needed.
i already have me a pair of headers there shorty but i got them as a gift so they will have to due for the time being.
next i would also like to ask what size stall would be good for this set up.
so if i could please get some responses it would be great i really want to order everything by this weekend.

If i were you I would try to sell the shorties and get a set of longtubes, pacesetter have nice ones that are really budget friendly. I felt a big difference from the JBA shorties to my pacesetters Lt, really nice. If I had the extra cash at the time I wouldve got the Stainless works.

? Is how many miles are u at? If u are over 100k then I would add some things like valve stem seals, updates timing chain, new water pump, and just because u are at it already with the lifters and the heads are coming off then update the valley Pan to a LS6 style with the oil baffle to help stop oil in the intake . Just my two cents. Because u will already have the accesorys off and those parts most of them will go sooner then later
