Time for tune up...plug and wire ?
I've got an 02 Avalanche with the 5.3L and getting ready to pull the plugs and wires. The truck has nothing done to it, but the GMPP intake, 3" catback, and hypertech 93oct tune. What plugs and wires would be good to run with?

STOCK.... Run what was on there... Howmany miles on the truck?? The wires are probably fine.. They are so short, it is rare they go bad, like old school wires that are 3 feet long..

I'm coming up on 200k. I don't like the stock wires and probably going with msd wires for an ls1. The wires I have are so short it doesn't feel like they slide all the way on, so I just don't get a warm fuzzy from them.

I have a truck that has 300k and it's still rockin stockers. You'd prob be better off taking the hypertech tune off and getting a real tune.
A lot of ppl complain about the MSD wires hitting on their headers so if you plan to get headers you'll need to watch for that. My stockers don't even come close to touching anything.
