TOG is coming back!

TOG is coming back!
I think most people know that "The Other Guys Performance Products, Inc." closed up shop in December of 2005. The shop was right here in Riverside literally less than two miles away from me. The owner of TOGPP developed health complications and left the state. The business didn't survive it. Here's a thread from back then when the unimaginable happened:

I vowed to keep everyone informed if I learned anything, so here goes!
I've kept in touch with Jon, from TOGPP, since then. He still comes in to buy race gas from us for the Grand Prix. In fact, Jon continued on his own making Grand Prix headers after the TOGPP, shut down. The ones he is making for that market are of the same uncompromised craftsmanship that he maintained while with TOGPP.
Anyway, Jon is gearing up to bring the "TOG" name back to the market with Gen III/IV truck headers stronger and even better than before. The new company will be called "The Other Guys Headers", and is not affiliated with the old company. The new TOG headers Will have CNC-cut 1/2" thick flanges, 1.5/8" primaries made of 14-guage mild steel. They'll all get high-temp polished silver-ceramic coating outside AND inside. They will be mid-length like the old ones, and they'll have the donut-type flanges and mating stub-pipes for welding onto the front of the cats. This is like the previous TOG headers, but these are all-new designs from the ground up with new fixtures and improved manufacturing processes.
Jon is working toward full-scale availability around the end of the year. There are still some undecided details about whether CARB Exemption will be pursued or not, and what options for EGR might be available. Any feedback I can give him about what everyone WANTS could be helpful. He's calling all the shots now which, if you have ever talked to Jon you'll know is VERY good for everyone.
I'll pass along everything I can, it's nice to know this to share!
